Chris McKibbin and articling student Maria Christodoulou had their article “Kleptocurrency: Crime insurers face new challenges with cryptocurrency” published in the April-May 2019 edition of Claims Canada magazine. The article provides a high-level description of how cryptocurrency works, and outlines some considerations crime insurers should take into account in tailoring traditional crime coverages to emerging cryptocurrency exposures.
